=)
Been like ages since I blogged or make a long entry~ So here it is..
I finally got my cyst removed! Thank God mine was a harmless one ehz .. But aww, no seafood for about 1 month!! I had a Sebaceous cyst removed. Its above my right side of my waist. A sebaceous cyst (also called epidermal cyst, keratin cyst, or epidermoid cyst) is a closed sac or cyst below the surface of the skin that fills with a fatty white, semi-solid material called sebum. The cyst may occur anywhere on the body except the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. They are smooth to the touch, vary in size, and are generally round in shape. Cysts usually only grow on women. Treatment: Sebaceous cysts are not cancerous and do not generally require medical treatment. However, if they continue to grow, they may become unsightly, painful, infected, or all of the above. Surgical excision of a sebaceous cyst is a simple procedure to completely remove the sac and its contents. An infected cyst may require oral antibiotics or other treatment before excision.
Conversation: Doc: Hmm.. its a sebaceous cyst Me: Whats that?? (kancheong look) Doc: Go inside the surgical room and lie down, I'll take it out now. Me: HUH!? Like right now?? Doc: Ya.. Then when? You want it to continue growing bigger? You scared is it? Me: NO LA! But its so sudden can!?! No need sign any documents ah? Doc: DUHZ!!! (sian half face) Lie down, don't face me... Me: OUCH! What an injection, thanks ah.. Doc: That is to prevent you from feeling any pain..
**Doctor mingles for around 15mins**
Doc: Yours is quite deep inside, hard to take out... Me: (oh my gosh) Pls get it over n done with fast~ Doc: Ok done, are you feeling ok? Me: Yesh, can I take a look? Doc: Yes..
